Wirja Taufan<\/strong>‘s Biodata :<\/p>\n

The poet recorded in the book LEKSIKON SUSASTRA INDONESIA by Korrie Layun Rampan (Balai Pustaka, 2000), WHAT AND WHO IS THE INDONESIAN PROVIDER (Indonesian Poetry Day, 2017) and in the book CREATIVE TRACES 100 SENIMAN SASTRAWAN SUMATERA UTARA (May, 2018), born in Medan, 15 September 1961 with the original name Suryadi Firdaus.<\/p>\n

The third child of seven siblings from both parents of North Sumatra writers, Dhalika Tadaus (deceased) and Nurlely AM (deceased), began writing since 1980 and published in various local and national media, including the daily newspaper Analysis, Bukit Barisan, Sinar Pembangunan, General Mimbar, Garuda, Medan Bisnis, North Sumatra Post, Padang Ekspres and Indopos Jakart, and the Jakarta Horizon literary magazine.<\/p>\n

In 1984 he received a Literature Creativity Prize in Poetry from the Medan Arts Council (DKM). In 1986 read a collection of his poems EPISODE DREAM in Taman Budaya Medan (TBM).<\/p>\n

In 1986 he was accepted to work as a Civil Servant (PNS) at the Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Nusantara I Station in Medan. From April 2015 until now he has served as the Head of Technology and New Media (TMB) at the RRI Padang Public Broadcasting Institution (LPP).<\/p>\n

Saya tidak pernah bertemu Socrates
\ndan muridnya Plato. Bahasa saya berbicara
\nMelalui kelopak-kelopak yang menari
\ndalam sebuah putik<\/p>\n

Detak jantung saya adalah bunga yang tumbuh
\nseadanya. Merindukan hujan di tanah gersang
\nMengelilingi jiwa, menyalakan mata saya<\/p>\n

Mungkin saya tidak ada setiap waktu
\nHanya jiwa saya. Mencarimu sepanjang jalan
\nSampai di ujung-ujung jalan
\nYang akan ditutup atau diledakkan<\/p>\n

Di bawah hujan matamu, jalan-jalan berlari
\nMenyimpan ribuan pelangi di dalam dirimu
\nSaya mati. Saya mati setiap saat
\nmenghirup nafas saya. Dunia imajiner
\nmembangun kembali kota-kota yang terluka<\/p>\n

Saya akan terus melukis kata-kata
