Barkan Albanian and English"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TASHI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have a granddaughter named<\/p>\n<p>Natasha Rose Clarke.<\/p>\n<p>She prefers to be called \u201cTasha\u201d or \u201cTashi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I prefer the latter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tashi sings original songs<\/p>\n<p>which she sometimes accompanies<\/p>\n<p>with her mandolin, guitar, or uke,<\/p>\n<p>like Dylan with his harmonica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Her UNncle Mark, a pro songwriter,<\/p>\n<p>who was very critical of singers or instrumentalists,<\/p>\n<p>when first he heard Tashi sing,<\/p>\n<p>was over the moon about it.\u00a0 I am, too.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The black holes that sometimes<\/p>\n<p>discord my dreams of things I did wrong<\/p>\n<p>or things I ought to have done<\/p>\n<p>are brightened by Tashi\u2019s singing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They are what the ancients called,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe music of the spheres.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For me, they are a new constellation<\/p>\n<p>astro-streaming in my nocturnity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How grateful I am for her creative power,<\/p>\n<p>a luminous talent, perhaps <em>l\u2019dor v\u2019dor<\/em>,<\/p>\n<p>the legacy of artistic mother and grandmother,<\/p>\n<p>passed from generation to generation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stanley H.
