Why I wrote…

I would like, first of all, to express my deep gratitude

to Anila Dahriu for this precious opportunity she has given me. This is one thing about her sensitivity and talent, the Albanian readers who can learn an emotional and reflective lesson from my poems. Anila, with her excellent translation, manages to transmit not only my verses, but also the essence of my thought, creating a connection between two cultures.

This process is not an act of converting the language, but a truly intercultural dialogue. Through it, Anila opens a window that will allow Albanian readers to explore the emotions, feelings and reflections that characterize my writings, making them accessible and written. I am convinced that literature is a tool connected to each other, capable of overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers, and I am excited by the idea that my thoughts can be.

Echoes in such a different context.

This exchange, the fruit of passion and dedication, not only enriches the works but also contributes to something else that has the full meaning of poetry lovers. The poems in this collection are born from the need to give voice to contradictory feelings and deep reflections on existence. In a world that continues, where certainties are abandoned and uncertainty seems to prevail, poetry becomes a path, a place where we can explore human beings, fears, but also the forces of love and hopes for a better future.

The verses in this collection touch on different themes, from maternal love and grow to reflect on the human condition, war, loss and the search for a strong balance, to the fast-paced life and the impact of technology. Each poem is a fragment of a personal path, a thing to give meaning to the chaos of the world and to find beauty even in a smaller world.

On these pages you will find poems that speak of strength and endurance, of unconditional love, of dreams and desires, but also of pain and suffering. They are verses that I hope will stimulate reflection, create a connection between my inner and outer world. They are verses that want to leave a trace, an echo, like those that street poets leave on the asphalt. I hope that this poem will touch the strings of your soul, make you feel less alone.

In addition to the verses, I need to add poetic installations, another way to explore and deepen the topics addressed. These installations are an extension of my poetic language, an act of giving shape to the emotions and reflections that spring from words. They are created for the readers’ acquaintances in a multisensory experience, in a more intimate dialogue with the work, where they are seen and merged with the sound of the poetry.

The installations are not simply illustrations, but three-dimensional poems, created with different materials, that interact with the texts and speak their meaning. I hope that this combination of word and installations offers a richer and more advanced reading, a love that goes beyond the written pages and that can leave a mark on the hearts of those who read.
