Flowers (VI)
It is dawning – a pure reflection of petals
Magnolias, till a splash into the distance
You arise from the bed, where as the dead
we decayed in the flood (white pain
and a guilder-rose scream – in the heart for them,
nocturnal ones, for youthful), truly does not arise –
it seeps through with a blossom-clarinet
so high, that the note – is as though death,
while the birds respond thence and it shall become
thus, as though one movement is enough –
just push ajar the window and trill and glimmer
over the expanse of the entire wound of light –
to beget…
It is dawning!

You walk along the blossoming acacias,
and the May night cannot be heard –
With a blaze warm hands heat in the distance…
You walk along the blossoming acacias
as you resonate with night like grass in May –
The blaze found its voice and became – a candle…
But the winds will plummet, and only the nightingales – are unsilenced.
White hands take flight out of darkness and soar toward the whole,
And the blossoming of acacias is upon you or the stars…

Briefly is dreaming. The far-away kindling of hurts,
Outcry of gleaming – atop of the autumnal tides.
Outlines of birds or of snakes – above morning vapor
In alterations of groaning – the disguise of disguise –
Stillborn, abortive – body, yet not even body but capture
There, where the grinding splits up – into heaven –
You doss and you fuss with trust in the gust,
But not for too long – you are so young and uncertain,
Won’t come down in hush,
And still you’re worthwhile like juvenile Sebastian
Clearly to relish (and angels were playing,
And Virgin with Child, and sweet overflow…),
Clearly to relish and see – and blood and an arrow
No longer are trembling in yards.
Has lied the bowstring – cannot even sever,
But glance returns and returns,
Under the sun his own wound will no longer revive,
Singing won’t rise – but it dawns…
We are – young and uncertain. We are wide – stormy sea
Outcry of gleaming – atop of the autumnal tides.
Billows – aquiver. A quiver’s atop them – the star.
My sore, stone-cold lake, do ignite, inflame, don’t die out:
Who, if not you, away me will carry so changefully?
The return to Budva
I have swum out of island. And black gore
From depth meanders underneath the rainfalls:
Have lied the curses of the farthest stars,
Extinguished in the dazzled dire farewelling,
When glance of yours – the empty hankering –
Has willed the torches to be quenched all out
Inside the numbed, inside the silent temple.
Excused I your so sinister a lip –
Let them not morph into the bleeding wounds…
I have swum out of glooming. And green gore
From distance winged beneath the salted breezes.
The scent of farness and of bones the garths
Till spree above the earth began to quiver,
That earth, since yore, blood-stained and all of black,
Her hug within the anguish in the cold
Right off take out into the Sunday slumbers,
When over mountains – verdure and the bloom,
And cinder of the years with light colliding.
I have swum out of greenness. And white gore
In form of bird has flashed upon the heaven,
And wrapped out distance in the lucid sky,
The blessing-bearing, and the golden-braided
I hugged and cried, and shouted in the dark,
And shook in flame the lonesome candlestick,
And shrine erected in the paschal sunshine,
In roses I have sunk: the crimson blood
In evenings’ spilling out without repentance.
I have swum out of rose. My gore – not gore:
Has bloomed in blue, in azure and in greyness,
Has swum in you, itself again, once more’s
Replete with floods against – the nightly billows,
With fracture of the stone resounds the sing
Of lands divine and flames, and sleeping dreams,
In waking-ups of those, the first, the latest
Each living thing will turn towards the seas,
And dawn the stars, the gods and breathing loving.

At every turn – farewell. And shivers hand
On contours so caressed by luring countdown,
Whole body – yet not spilled out woeful tear,
All gusts – as if the tempest’s waning down
Among the distant sea that sprawled between us.
Your inflows and your ebbs – unbroken scream,
My shore – forlorn endurance of the standing,
‘Freeze up! Freeze up! – an aspen on the mooring
Still shakes and beckons – for the valediction,
Like for another when the parlous love
Could not perceive and can’t (for aye!) outdo –
And execrated…
We are – someone, – else,
Upon the sly we quench our natal bleeding,
We have not sharpened in the fights our knives,
But war – like seas – won’t ever cease to be,
But war – like breeze – won’t ever cease to be,
It’s cutting out the natives at the rims,
So alien, other…
Get out and swim,
My fingers shiver but don’t wait for tears,
Don’t wait for storm – won’t ever rip the shores
Towards the sea, just don’t disturb the gravel:
We’re other. Grows all numb the salty stake.

In tardy time the path for you’s reverting
Down into cypress holts, in fog and ash
But don’t recall the wellspring of the pallor,
You know: behind the lakes, behind the seas
The paradise was striving, burning, jetting;
Among Parnassus grass the son of earth
Was called the bird by godlike silent essence…
Yet once the softest water shall be served
You’ll do think twice: where vanishes the echo
Of singing voice in skyline of the face,
And why this vanishing, this quasi person
