IWA Bogdani has dcided to give the International prize “Pjeter Bogdani” To Dr Liljana Pandeva poetesse and translator from Skopje (North Macedonia). The motivation is the strong message and peace on international affairs.
Bio of the Author
Dr Liljana Pandeva  born in Strumica (1964, North Macedonia).

1989 – graduates at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, Department of literature history regarding the Jugoslav Republics and specializes in Macedonian language.

1999 – becomes a member of the Presidency of the Macedonian language lectors Association.

2002 – wins a “Nova Makedonija” short story award.

2005 – writes “Novogodishni ednochinki” , a one act theatre piece for children, published by BoroGrafika, Skopje.

2009 – writes the novel “Od agendata na Kalina Kalin”, published by “Makedonska rech”, Skopje.

2010 – becomes a member of the Macedonian Writers Association.

2010 – gets a Master’s degree in philological sciences at the Faculty of Philology “Blazhe Koneski” – Skopje.  Thesis name: “Poetic stylistic devices in the Macedonian poetry between the tradicion and

the innovation”.

2012 – publishes the German translation of her novel “Od agendata na Kalina Kalin” – “Schwestern und Machos in Makedonien”, published by the Austrian publishing house Waiser.

2012 – writes the novel “ Vozovite na Lucern”, “PNV Publikacii”, Skopje.

2013 – publishes the German translation of her novel “Vozovite na Lucern” – “Balkanexpress Skopje Lausanne”, published by the Austrian publishing house Waiser.

2014 – writes the short stories novel “Kancelariski kolumni”, “PNV Publikacii”, Skopje.

2015 – writes the poetry book “ Ljubov od A do Sh I obratno”, “PNV Publikacii”, Skopje.

2016 – writes the novel “Doilkata”, published by “PNV Publikacii”, Skopje.

2017 – wins the award for the best novel in Macedonia in 2016 “Stale Popov” awarded by the Macedonian Writers Association.

2018 – gets a PhD degree in philological sciences at the Faculty of Philology “Blazhe Koneski”, Skopje. Thesis name: “The adverbialisation in the Macedonian language”

2019 – publishes the Serbian translation of her novel “Doilkata” –„Дојиља“, published by the publishing house “Alma”, Belgrade.

2019 – wins a short story award by “Nova Makedonija”.

The novel “Doilkata” will be published in Moscow in 2020, translated in Russian. Liljana Pandeva is an author of many short stories published in Macedonian literature magazines. She has also written many reviews, critiques and papers in many Macedonian and foreign literature magazines and many scientific papers regarding the Macedonian language and linguistics published in scientific anthologies. She is also a member of a humanitarian association helping those in need by donating the money from sold books.
